दुग्ध उत्पादक संस्थाले दूध नउठाउँदा बिक्रीमा समस्या

Chitwan:  Recently, the milk produced in the district has stopped being sold regularly. 28 to 30 milk producing organizations outside the district used to collect milk from here, but recently they stopped collecting milk regularly, so the sales decreased.

According to Kishore Bagale, President of District Milk Producers' Cooperative Association, Chitwan, the companies collect milk only once a week. He said, “The milk stopped rising. Now how to distribute sales?” He said that there is no regular sale of milk.

350,000 liters of milk is being produced daily in the district. Out of which 150,000 liters went to the outer districts. Farmers are worried because milk cannot be sold.

According to Bagale, dairy farmers have started to worry about how to manage the milk that is going out of the district. He said, "We have already informed the ministers, chief ministers and prime ministers of the state and federal governments. So far, the problem has not been solved."

Bagale said that due to imported dairy products, the products produced here could not be sold and distributed. He said, "In the night bus, items such as bathing powder, powdered milk and other things are coming from the Indian border by hiding." He alleged that the local administration did not show much interest when even the items banned by the government were found in Chitwan market.

Bagale said, "If this is the case, there is no alternative to joining the farmers' movement", he said that the day is approaching when the farmers will have to join the street struggle and find a solution to their own problems.

Bagale, Chairman of Milk Producers' Cooperative Association, said that after the closure of the Chitwan Milk Industry in Ramnagar due to lack of consumption, the problem has increased. He said, "Milk producing farmers have not received payment since October and private organizations have not taken milk. Farmers are suffering."

According to Bagale, the Dairy Development Institute (DDC) is currently collecting some milk. He said that although some amount of milk taken by private organizations was taken by the institute, not much milk was collected.

The association said that all the stakeholders could not show interest in solving the problems of dairy farmers. He said that if there is no milk production, the farmers will have to flee.
